Development Methodology
Alamo Web Pros uses a plug-and-play development methodology which we apply to all projects, large and small. By following a tried-and-true development process, we can better understand your company, where you want to take it, and offer you the right solution to get you there.Phase 1: Definition -- We work with you to understand your short and long term needs, as well as your business goals and processes. Then, we agree upon a definition of success and measure of return on investment, followed by a detailed action plan with project scope and budget.
Phase 2: Design -- Next, we define and agree to the functional, technical, and creative specifications of the solution. Using the definition document as a foundation, we refine the solution and produce a detailed design document and prototype of the solution through an iterative design process.
Phase 3: Build -- Now the fun begins! Build the final application and integrate it with your existing systems. Finally, we test the solution and make sure you understand how to use it.
Phase 4: Launch -- Now it's time to flip the switch and go live. After launch, we'll monitor performance and measure the solution against the success criteria. We complete project documentation and provide you with an action plan for managing the solution. We can also design and execute marketing and promotion plans.
Phase 5: Support -- For a period after launch, we'll continue to track the solution's success and monitor your success. Depending on your needs and resources, we can also train staff, manage site content and provide staff augmentation to ensure the success of your e-business.
